Finding ways of accessing vehicles with ease and safety is of paramount importance for those with limited mobility and, to show people just what is on offer, one leading provider of disability vehicle lifts will be attending a leading roadshow.
Vapor Ricon Ltd will be attending the Mobility Roadshow, at location OUT2, which takes place at Donington Park on 25th – 27th June 2015. The team will have a fully working demo bus complete with vehicle lift and compatible restraint system as well as showcasing other products, all of which are designed to be user and passenger friendly making travel simplistic and hassle free.
‘We are delighted to be part of this superb roadshow dedicated entirely to assisting people with limited mobility, giving them freedom and safety to travel within their own, and other vehicles,” commented Michael Dickinson sales manager Vapor Ricon. “Our demonstration bus will have our K series lift available for visitors to try and our new wheelchair hoist will be available to see. And members of the team will be there to offer advice regarding all our products and services.”
The K Series domestic wheelchair lift benefits from front and rear roll stops and handrails securing passengers whilst the lift is operating. Its folding platform design and simple and reliable operation gives convenient vehicular access for wheelchairs and scooters and the powerful hydraulic pump assures a smooth, stable operation.
Furthermore, the latest addition to the Vapor Ricon product portfolio is its wheelchair hoist, launched at the recent Naidex exhibition, which delivers a smooth transition of wheelchair passengers into suitably modified vehicles.
“It is important that we support people with limited mobility not just through designing and manufacturing safe, reliable and user friendly products but supporting them in their quest to be able to enjoy life and all that it offers,” said Michael. “We are proud to support the British Wheelchair Athletic Association with sponsorship and have supported other sporting challenges in the UK including a John O’Groats to Lands End wheelchair endurance event.
Attending events such as Mobility Roadshow allows us to extend that support further and we look forward to meeting and helping lots of people.”
Mobility Roadshow is the leading consumer focused event which allows wheelchair users and those with limited mobility to enjoy hands on experiences and receive knowledgeable and helpful advice.
